Cremation is a dignified, affordable alternative to traditional burial. These services include a visitation, if applicable, a church service followed by a procession to the crematory, usually using a hearse and limousine.

A direct cremation is when the deceased is cremated without a visitation. A gathering or memorial service can be arranged immediately after the cremation or on a future date.

A direct burial is when the deceased is buried without a visitation. However a brief service may be conducted at the gravesite followed by a gathering or memorial service immediately after the burial or on a future date.

If the deceased had local friends or family, consider a simple service to celebrate their life before the body is shipped. This will allow closure for loved ones who will be unable to attend the burial.

Every eligible veteran may receive a military funeral honors ceremony which includes folding and presenting the United States burial flag and the playing of Taps.

Putting on a special memorial program can provide comfort as you honor your loved one. A memorial service can include the options of a traditional service or a contemporary service while honoring the lifestyle and choices of your loved one.  A memorial service can take the place of a traditional service or may be held weeks or months after.
